Top Ten Hyped Books I've Never Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten Tuesday asks bloggers to list their top ten hyped books they've never read. The following books are in no particular order. I know a lot of people love the following books but I never plan to read them. Hopefully I am not offending anyone. I am not really a high fantasy type of reader so most of the books listed will be high fantasy hyped books. I am also not a big fan of fairy books unless fairies are incorporated with other paranormal creatures that interest me.

by Sarah J. Maas

by Leigh Bardugo

by Maggie Stiefvater

4. Graceling Realm series
by Kristin Cashore

by Laini Taylor

  2. I am still a fan of Graceling, Shiver, and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. You have some good ones on your list.

  3. I wish I could say I didn't read Twilight. But, sighhhhh, I did. I feel the exact same about the rest of the books on your list though. Not my type of books, and just too many people freaking out over them. And I probably will never read any of them either!

    1. I think a lot of people wish they could say they never read Twilight. I am picky about what I read so I can let other people fangirl over the books I have listed above.

  5. I really enjoyed the Shadow and Bone trilogy. I'm enjoying Throne of Glass too. I can understand why you'd be worried to read them though, they do have such hype surrounding them.

    1. I think because some books are over hyped, I have high expectations and I am disappointed when the books don't meet my expectations.

  6. The Throne of Glass series has certainly sucked me in, but it does get hyped up an insane amount! The Grisha trilogy was enjoyable for me, but nothing too special, I was expecting more, so I don't think you are missing too much there.

  9. Yep! Same. All except Twilight, which is kind of my guilty pleasure. I read Shiver and hated it so decided not to read the rest of the series.

    1. I tried to read Shiver but I couldn't finish it. The premise sounds great though. It might be the writing style that I didn't enjoy.
