Top Ten Author Duos You'd LOVE To See Write A Book Together


Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten Tuesday asks bloggers to list their top ten author duos they would LOVE to see write a book together. The following author duos are in no particular order.

5. Emery Lord and Tamara Ireland Stone - contemporary with a emphasis on literature and writing with all the feels

6. Kim Liggett and Nova Ren Suma - ultimate creepy horror with wonderful atmospheric description

7. Kendall Kulper and Josephine Angelini - historical fantasy at its best with lots of magic

8. Leila Sales and Jennifer Walkup - coming-of-age contemporary surrounded by music

9. Marie Lu and Marie Rutkoski - dark fantasy, power dynamics and epic world building will collide! Strong women will lead the masses!

10. Neil Gaiman and Tim Burton - an anthology of fairy tales and folklore with a Gaiman and Burton dark twist

    Yesssss, Kim Liggett and Nova Ren Suma sounds like a *great* pairing to me.

    Also, I've never read anything by Rachel Hawkins or Cara Bertrand, but I'm curious about them after your description here.

      I fell in love with Kim Liggett's Blood and Salt. I have only read a short story by Nova Ren Suma but I bet they would write a superb book together. If you like paranormal and boarding house books, check out novels by Rachel Hawkins and Cara Bertrand.

    Stephanie Perkins and Jenny Han are a great choice! I would love a book by them! I also REALLY like the sound of Marie Lu and Marie Rutkoski, their books world bulding would be INCREDIBLE! I want that one, really bad! :)

      Stephanie Perkins and Jenny Han would write a pretty amazing contemporary. I love Marie squared as well because, as you said, the INCREDIBLE world building! Wishful thinking for these authors to collaborate together. I wouldn't mind if the collaborations actually happened.

    Rowling and Riordan, that would be the biggest series! And it would be fantastic. Also their names to together, so there would be no funny looking cover because of author names that look funny next to each other. Does anyone else care abut that beside me?
    I can also see Perkins and Han. It would be interested to say the least.

    Stephanie Perkins and Jenny Han would be SUCH a perfect duo! I honestly don't know if i could read a romance book by the two of them-i'm pretty sure it would destroy me! (but it would be so worth it LOL).
