Top Ten Books I'm Looking Forward To In 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's Top Ten Tuesday asks bloggers to list their top ten books they're looking forward to in 2015. The following books are in no particular order. Some of the following books were also listed on previous Top Ten Tuesday lists because I am excited about so many upcoming releases. Can you blame me?

1. The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan is the first book in the Magnus Chase and Gods of Asgard series. Theseries is about Norse Mythology! I am so pumped for this series especially since it takes place in Boston!!! The book will be released on October 6, 2015.

2. Mechanica by Betsy Cornwell is a steampunk retelling of Cinderella. It sounds amazing based on the synopsis. The cover is absolutely stunning and I love how the the main character's name is Nicolette. The book will be released on August 4, 2015.

3. Speaking of amazing covers, The Heir by Kiera Cass, has a gorgeous cover. All of the covers in the Selection series are pretty awesome. Love the dresses! I am super excited that Cass decided to write two more books in the Selection series as well as two more novellas. The book will be released on May 5, 2015.

4. Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes by Rick Riordan is a companion to Percy Jackson's Greek Gods. I assume the book will be written in the voice of Percy. This coffee table size book is a must have for any Percy Jackson fan. The book will be released on August 18, 2015.

5. The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead is definitely on this list because I NEED this book. It's the book that I MUST HAVE. The Bloodlines series is one of my favorite series so it is a no brainer that I want to read the last book. Fortunately the book will be released on February 10, 2015.

6. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare is the first book in the The Dark Artifices series. Yes, this series is a Shadowhunter series. The series takes place in Los Angeles and 5 years later after The City of Heavenly Fire. Emma Carstairs is the main character. The book will be released sometime in September of 2015. (Edit: As 1/12/15 Lady Midnight will be released in March 2016)

7. P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han is the second book in the To All the Boys I've Loved Before duology. I am looking forward to this since the first book is one of my favorite reads from 2014. The book will be released on April 21, 2015.

8. The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski is the second book in the The Winner's Trilogy. I loved The Winner's Curse, so there is no surprise that I am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy. The book will be released on March 5, 2015.

9. Mind Games by Teri Terry is a sci-fi psychological thriller. Terry is a fantastic writer so I have no doubts Mind Games is going to be amazing! The book will be released on March 5, 2015.

10. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard is the first book in the Red Queen Trilogy. It is also Aveyard's debut novel. There is a lot of buzz about this book for 2015 and for good reasons. The book will be released on February 10, 2015.

  1. Great picks! I'm so excited to read The Winner's Crime, I have been desperate for that book since I finished the first. Red Queen is a book I'm really excited for too but I just completely forgot to add it to my list. 2015 is going to be a brilliant year for books. I hope you enjoy of these when you finally get to read them :) Here's my STS.

  2. Good picks! There are about 5 on there that I would have put on my list if I had done sequels or debuts. It was hard leaving them off, particularly Ruby Circle, P.S. I still love you, and Red Queen.

    1. Yeah. It was hard narrowing down the list to just 10 books.
